In 2009, when cyclone Aila hit the Sunderbans, Calcutta Foundation responded to the widespread destruction by sending food and shelter kits for 2,000 people. A Medical Team, along with a group of CF Volunteers visited the Sunderbans to provide medical care and rehabilitation.
